As we celebrate this year’s International Girls in ICT Day themed, “Girls in ICT for Inclusive Digital Transformation,” we are reminded that Africa's digital future must be built by all and that includes the voices, innovations, and leadership of women.

Structural barriers, societal expectations, and workplace biases continue to limit the participation of women in the very field that is driving the continent’s future. Despite the odds, there are trailblazing women across Africa who have defied these odds, risen to the challenge, shattered glass ceilings, and proved that the future of ICT must be inclusive.

Through candid conversations, the webinar will highlight the challenges, triumphs, and impact of their work in a “male-dominated” field. The panelists will offer insights, mentorship, and nuggets of wisdom to young women aspiring to break into and thrive in ICT, demonstrating that inclusion is not just necessary but essential for Africa’s digital future.
